هستی، سرچشمه‌ای دارد؛
می‌توان آن را بنیادِ جهان پنداشت؛
آن‌کس که سرچشمه را بیابد،
جهانِ هست را یافته است؛
و آن‌کس که جهانِ هست را بیابد؛
مباد که سرچشمه را از یادببرد؛
این راهِ آشتی‌ست؛
رازِ مانایی،
و گنجِ بی‌پایانِ آدمی.
چون به این گنج رسیدی، پاسداری کن، افزون‌خواهی مکن؛
درهای حواس را بسته دار، تا فرسوده نگردی؛
اگر درها را بگشایی، گنج به تاراج رود و رَستن نتوانی.
بینشِ ژرف، دیدنِ آفتاب در درونِ ذرّه است.
آن‌که نرم و مهربان می‌ماند، پایدار و پرتوان است.
از نورِ دانش برخوردار و از پرتوِ سرشتِ بنیادین کامیاب باش؛
تا اندوهی به تو نرسد؛
این است پیروی از راهِ جاویدان.

Existence holds an Origin,
that may be known as the Foundation of the World.
Whoever finds the Foundation of Being,
has found the world of existence;
And whoever finds the world of existence,
must never turn away from the Foundation of Being.
This is the path of harmony,

and the endless treasure.
When you reach the treasure, guard it—
do not crave for more.
Keep the gates of the senses closed,
so you shall not grow weary;
If you open the gates,
the treasure will be plundered,
and you shall find no deliverance.
Profound insight is seeing the sun within a particle.
The gentle and kind are enduring and full of power.
Draw from the light of knowledge
and be illumined by the radiance of the Fundamental Nature;
Thus, no sorrow shall reach you.
This is to follow the Everlasting Way.
